At Shelby Lumber Company, our goal is to provide you with everything you need to complete your building project and to develop new friendships along the way! No matter what the size of the job, we provide quality material and labor to design-build residential, light commercial and remodeling jobs.

Since 1982 we've been through eight major additions at our facility, in Shelby, NE, to better serve our customers. This includes a 1,000 sq. ft. expansion of our retail store, the 3,000 sq. ft. display room, and a 1,500 sq. ft. shop to pre-finish interior doors and trim. A full-line lumberyard provides for all building needs. When you stop in to our store, our friendly staff will be happy to assist you with all your needs, including finding that right tool to get the job done, to ordering doors and windows to picking out that perfect color of paint for your walls! We can help!

In 2007, Shelby Lumber Co. expanded its service to a location in Columbus, NE, to better serve the territory of our most valuable assets, our customers. Design Build by Shelby Lumber Co. is a beautiful 2,500 sq. ft. showroom which displays our products and craftsmanship. It truly provides 'customer service' at its best! Design Build by Shelby Lumber Co. makes all those building choices easier!

Schuyler Lumber Company, our third location, in Schuyler, NE has provided the same excellent service as Shelby Lumber Company since 1988 with a full-line lumberyard and an 8,000 sq. ft. retail store. Located just 20 miles east of Columbus, NE, customers have quick access, when needed, to our showroom, Design Build by Shelby Lumber Co., to help with their building design choices.
